The Swedish-owned platform Esportal and gaming center Inferno Online are going bankrupt, writes Expressen.

Esportal Group AB – where the platform Esportal and gaming center Inferno Online are part of the group – filed for bankruptcy on Wednesday after several tough years.

Four of the gaming centers are located in Stockholm and the other two in Malmö and Gothenburg. The hope is that they will not have to close.

We hope that the bankruptcy administrator can find a solution that allows the centers to continue operating with a new owner, says Magnus Granqvist, chairman of the Inferno Online group to the newspaper.

Magnus Granqvist also says that they have reduced staff since the beginning of last year. And despite going bankrupt, they still have plenty of customers and receive revenue every day.

We have not lost any customers, on the contrary, we have strengthened our order stock of corporate customers, he says.
