Voters' confidence in Magdalena Andersson (S) has long been high, but in the latest survey from SVT/Verian she has fallen from 45 percent to 37 percent. She is now on par with Ulf Kristersson (M), who is unchanged at 38 percent since the last survey.
The decline is mainly among red-green voters.
Highest number
For KD leader Ebba Busch, the figure is the highest she has received in Verian's polls - 42 percent. She is also making strong progress in the DN/Ipsos poll, where the share of voters with great or very great confidence in the party leader rises from 27 to 33 percent.
"I think it shows the strength of the vision and our ideas and that there is strong support for a different type of leadership," Busch says, commenting on the fact that the leader of such a small party still gets such high numbers.
In DN/Ipsos, Magdalena Andersson continues to have the greatest confidence among voters, even though she has fallen slightly from 45 to 44 percent, followed by Ulf Kristersson, who has gone from 36 percent to 38.
Several factors
Even though there are positive trends for the government, it is difficult to know how they will affect the election, explains Per Söderpalm, opinion manager at Verian. He emphasizes that ultimately there are several factors that play into how voters vote. In Sweden, people tend to vote for parties and ideology rather than individuals.
Among the leaders of the smaller parties, Simona Mohamsson (L) accounts for the single largest increase in SVT/Verian, advancing by ten percentage points. Trust in Mohamsson is also increasing in the survey from DN/Ipsos, but she is still at the bottom with 11 percent who have great or very great trust in her.
1,025 people between the ages of 18 and 84 responded to Verian's survey, which was conducted September 1-3.
