China's expansion of charging stations for electric cars is at a frantic pace. The goal is to set up 800 new ones – every day.

The cross-authority plan runs for three years, with the goal of doubling the number of places where you can charge your electric car, from today's 17.35 million, according to the state news agency New China .

By the end of 2027, the network will consist of 28 million charging facilities, with a capacity of over 300 million kilowatts.

Two-thirds of the world's electric cars, 11 million, were sold in China last year, according to the IEA.
