Electric cars accounted for over 96 percent of sales to private individuals in Denmark during April, figures from Mobility Denmark show.
The transition to a fully electric vehicle fleet in Denmark is therefore accelerating. A year ago, around 400,000 electric cars were on Danish roads; in April, the figure was 600,000, about a fifth of all cars in the country.
If company cars are also included in April sales, the figure came to 81.9 percent electric cars.
