A conflict that has been ongoing since 2017 between Australia and China regarding lobster exports is now resolved. China is willing to remove the trade tariffs that were introduced on lobsters, along with a range of other goods, in 2017, but where lobsters were the only product still affected.

For Australia, it's about an export worth a total of 500 million dollars. The background to China's original measures has been Australia's decision to block Chinese Huawei from the country's 5G network.
