The Medieval Museum is in transition: its former premises by the Riksdag are closed while it relocates. Visit Stockholm says it is expected to open during the move, but gives no reopening date. The museum is still organizing events.

Visit Stockholm lists city walks and tours of historical rooms among them. The museum’s website has a calendar for upcoming events and lets visitors book a guided group tour for friends, an association or a company. Its site also points to its collections, registers and research. Visit Stockholm lists Trångsund 3, 111 28 Stockholm as the address; the same page says the former facilities by the Riksdag are closed.

The city listing gives no ticket price or visit duration. In summer, the city says, visitors can also go to the museum’s pop-up Medeltidsboden. The museum’s Medieval Fashion display, with newly sewn women’s clothing recreated from the 11th century to the early 16th century, was listed through 1 November 2026. That date was yesterday, so it is no longer a current exhibition to plan around.
