Stockholm Toy Museum is in Bergrummet, the caverns beneath Skeppsholmen. The museum covers 2,500 square metres, with paths winding into the rock. Its collection includes 40,000 objects, made up of toys and comics. Lighting, sound, scenery and artwork are used to bring the displays to life.

Visitors can see toys from earlier generations alongside items familiar to children today. The museum also has play areas. Guided tours of the collection are currently available only to groups that book in advance.

Visit Stockholm’s listing says the museum is closed for renovations until September 2026. That date has passed, but the listing does not confirm whether it has reopened. The museum’s website says it usually opens daily from 10:00 to 17:00, including during school holidays, and directs visitors to its Visit Us page for current opening hours. Check that page before travelling. The supplied information does not give ticket prices or a recommended visit length.
