Downtown Camper by Scandic is the base camp for Seven Summits in Stockholm, an activity built around climbing seven peaks around the city. The peaks are Hammarbybacken, Tantolunden, Hagakullen, Skinnarviksberget, Vanadislunden, Vita Bergen and Långholmen. The project pairs them with Mount Everest and the six other peaks in the Seven Summits challenge.

Adventurer Renata Chlumska, the first Swedish woman to climb Mount Everest, is the virtual guide. When you reach a summit, you can listen to her story through the Storyspot app. Take a picture at the top. After climbing all seven, go to Downtown Camper to claim the prize.

The hotel is also the place to recharge between or after climbs. Restaurant Campfire is suggested for food, while the Nest wellness area has a sauna, an outdoor pool and adventure showers. The program combines climbs across Stockholm with a virtual guide and an end-of-challenge prize. Downtown Camper is both its base camp and the place to collect the prize.
