Sally Voltaire & Systrar

Sally Voltaire & Systrar is a restaurant inside Stockholm’s Åhléns City department store. Visit Stockholm describes its offer as modern vegetarian food, with fish and seafood, and says the restaurant calls itself a “food-spa.” It also describes the restaurant as a stop for shoppers.

A shop is attached to the restaurant. It sells selected products for the kitchen and home, including organic tea, soap and kitchen tools, according to Visit Stockholm and the restaurant’s website.

The family’s food business dates to 1897, when Lotta Voltaire’s great-grandfather opened Blombergs Konditori on Drottninggatan. The bakery, a royal purveyor of baked goods, was run by the family for almost a century. Later generations developed a focus on green food, and the Voltaire sisters published their first cookbook in 1996. Sally Voltaire & Systrar opened at Åhléns City in 2015.
