Pang Pang Festaurang is a restaurant and bar in Hornstull, on Södermalm. It serves beers, ales and stouts on tap, alongside snacks and entrees. On weekends, early customers can also find brunch. The restaurant is part of Pang Pang’s wider operation: its brewery is in Hökarängen, south of Stockholm, and the business also runs a taproom that opens in summer.

Pang Pang began as a brewery project in 2010, when Fredrik Tunedal, then 25, set out to start what the brewery calls Stockholm’s first craft beer brewery. The brewery says it is known for handmade beers and unconventional brewing methods. One example is PangPang Bongwater, an imperial stout made using a fermenter rebuilt as a bong, with cigars smoked through the wort. Pang Pang’s brewing philosophy puts the process at the centre, not only the idea for a beer. The Bongwater description concerns the brewery’s production method; the restaurant’s listed food is snacks, entrees and weekend brunch.
