Kungliga promenader is a free app for self-guided walks through royal parks and grounds. It covers southern Djurgården, Hagaparken and Ulriksdals palace park. Visit Stockholm also lists walks at Drottningholm and Tullgarn Castle. The app introduces sights and history across these parks and royal sites.

On Djurgården, a route runs from Djurgårdsbron along the shore to Rosendal Palace, the royal summer residence. The app offers three prepared walks there, with themes including parks and nature, royal history, buildings, sculptures, and places and events. It also has walks with different themes in Hagaparken and Ulriksdal.

The text is available in Swedish and English, with historic and recent photographs. At Ulriksdal, a quiz for younger visitors has questions and puzzles about selected places in the park. For people visiting the parks, the app also offers activities that encourage play and exploring with the senses. You can explore the app from home as well. It is free to download from the App Store and Google Play.
