Il Tempo is at Högbergsgatan 40 in Södermalm, on the corner of Högbergsgatan and Repslagargatan, where the restaurant says it has been for more than 30 years. Its cooking is an interpretation of rustic Italian food, inspired by New York’s Little Italy of the 1980s and 1990s and the restaurant Gino’s. The kitchen makes pasta from scratch every day, and Roman-style pizzas bake in a wood-fired oven in the middle of the dining room. Visit Stockholm also lists classic chicken and fish dishes, alongside pizza and pasta, and says the restaurant has Italian wines and spirits.
You can come for a meal or stop at the bar for a glass of sparkling wine and antipasti. The bar takes walk-ins, while the restaurant recommends booking a table. Dogs are welcome in the bar. Opening hours are Monday to Thursday 17:00–22:00, Friday and Saturday 16:00–23:00, and Sunday 16:00–22:00. Groups can book the whole restaurant or a private room for 8 to 12 people.
