Farang is a restaurant on Tulegatan in Stockholm. It serves food inspired by the culinary cultures of Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia and Indonesia. Farang describes its format as “share food,” with dishes shared around the table.

The restaurant occupies the ground floor of the former Stockholms Elektricitetsverk, the Stockholm Electric Works, in an old industrial building. The industrial character remains, alongside rustic and modern design, soft light from large lamps, an open kitchen and community tables.

Guests can eat in the dining room or stop at the cocktail bar for food and cocktails with Southeast Asian flavours. The bar takes walk-ins. Farang says some of its menu is available for takeaway, and it offers catering for events.

The venue has four private rooms and areas for groups of four to 24, for private dinners, celebrations, conferences and larger gatherings. The shared format puts dishes on the table for diners to share, so the meal is centred on eating together.
