At Drejeriet, visitors choose a ready-made ceramic piece and paint and decorate it during a two-hour session. The studio offers cups, bowls, plates and other pieces, with paints, glazes, brushes, stamps and other decorating materials available to use. The activity is open to all ages and skill levels, making it suitable for a family outing, a celebration or time to work on a piece alone.
Each person leaves their painted pottery at the studio so it can be glazed and fired. Drejeriet says it will email participants when their finished pieces are ready for collection, a couple of weeks later. The session gives visitors a hands-on creative activity in Stockholm, with the result being a ceramic object painted by its maker.
