Dinner in Darkness turns a meal in Gamla Stan into a test of the senses. In a medieval cellar vault beneath the old streets, guests are served a two-course dinner in complete darkness. Without sight, they try to guess what they are eating and drinking throughout the evening, with their other senses heightened.
The experience is running now and continues into winter, until 20 February 2027. It may suit visitors looking for a meal that asks them to focus on flavour rather than appearance. The setting is part of the experience: dinner takes place underground in Stockholm’s Old Town, in a cellar described as cozy. Expect an immersive meal built around tasting and guessing, rather than an ordinary dinner where food and drink are visible.
