Asteroid Hunters is a film at Cosmonova that takes viewers into space to explore asteroids, their cosmic origins and the potential threat they pose to Earth. Most asteroids never reach our planet. The film asks how science, technology and human ingenuity could help deal with those that do, and whether a supercomputer might be part of the answer.
Produced by IMAX Corporation, the film is narrated in Swedish by Eva Röse and runs for about 45 minutes. The Swedish Museum of Natural History recommends it for visitors aged 8 and up. Its subject is a way to look at how people might use science and technology to protect the planet from an asteroid impact.
