Christmas baking workshop

During a few hours in the kitchen at Vaxholm’s Bed & Breakfast, participants will learn the secret of baking traditional saffron buns and crispy old-fashioned gingerbread, both essential for a Swedish Christmas. Baking takes place in a group of up to six people. The workshop starts with a shared lunch and concludes with a tasting of the freshly baked saffron buns and gingerbread cookies. Each guest will also receive dough to take home. See you in the kitchen!

In the idyllic castlegrounds of Tyresö Castle you will find Tyresö Handelsträdgård. You are invited to join the festivities when they fill upp the greenhouses with plants and decorations for christmas. The market is held inside one of the greenhouses and therefore you can walk protected against the cold winterwinds.
