Now running through 15 December, Cafe and Meeting Place brings people together at Gruvan in Herräng each Tuesday. The gathering is for anyone who wants company: people can have fika, play games or simply spend time there. The organisers say the aim is to create a sense of community in Herräng and give people a chance to meet new friends.
The Tuesday afternoon schedule was chosen because the library is also open then, according to the event page. Sessions take place in Gruvan, on the ground floor of Folkets Hus Herräng. Norrtälje municipality and Unika in Hallstavik are working together on the event. Visitors can also find a simple café service, a toilet and a baby-changing room at the venue.
