Årshultsmyren is a nature reserve west of Ljungby. Boardwalk trails start from the entrance at Kränkeboda, where visitors can choose among several hiking loops. The longest loop is 9.5 kilometres; the others are about 4 kilometres. The reserve has open bog, leafy woodland that filters sunlight and denser forest. The contrast between the dappled woods and the close-set trees gives way to open ground on the bog.

Bring water before setting out, or take a picnic. Lake Stensjön follows parts of the walking trail, and visitors can bring swimwear for a dip. The blue-flowered marsh gentian grows in the southeastern and northern parts of the reserve. Its flowers bloom from August into September and stand out as blue marks in the vegetation. The information describes several walking routes.
