Kulturparken Småland is an umbrella name for Småland’s cultural heritage. It brings together cultural meeting places to show, explore and collect the region’s history across the past, present and future. At Smålands Museum and Utvandrarnas hus, families can explore the LEKfullt exhibition, use audio guides made for children and take part in school-holiday activities.

The venue’s “Glas! Glas! Glas!” feature explores glass as a craft and material. The website says craftsmanship has been at the heart of Småland’s glass industry for more than a century. The feature covers the history of glass, how glass and light interact, and glass as a material.

The Digital Museum offers a way to explore Kulturparken Småland’s collections online. It contains more than 100,000 objects, including artefacts, photographs, visual art and audio clips. It also has digital exhibitions that are available only online. Together, these offerings give visitors several ways to encounter Småland’s cultural history, from activities for children at the museums to collections and exhibitions on the web.
