Spröd is a pizzeria in Gothenburg built around its own sprödbrödspizza, a thin, crispy pizza. The concept came from Hakan, a pizzaiolo (pizza chef) with more than 30 years of experience. After many years in the industry, he began exploring other ways to make pizza. Test bakes, adjustments and conversations with guests shaped the sprödbrödspizza, which became the foundation for Spröd, opened in 2024.

Spröd's approach puts craftsmanship at the centre of the process, from dough left to rest at its own pace to toppings made with carefully selected ingredients. The signature pizza is the focus: it is described as thin and crisp, with flavour from its toppings.
