Nordstan is a shopping centre made up of eight blocks under one roof, with 200 shops, according to Visit Sweden. Fashion, especially clothing and shoes, is its largest category. The centre also has cosmetics, consumer electronics, sports shops, flowers, toys, home furnishings, banks, liquor shops, restaurants and a pharmacy. Visitors can look for clothes and shoes, browse for household goods, or eat at a restaurant without leaving the centre.

Visit Sweden says Nordstan has events through the year, including fashion shows, exhibitions, launches, contests and shows. A handicraft and design market is organised around Christmas and in summer. The roof over the eight blocks can make the centre an option on a rainy or windy day. Nordstan also has a parking garage that Visit Sweden describes as always open and having many spaces.

The shops, restaurants and events offer different ways to spend a visit, depending on what you want to do. The market is a seasonal reason to visit around Christmas or in summer; the centre’s events take place through the year.
