Clarion Hotel Post is at Gothenburg’s Drottningtorget transport hub, with bus and tram connections and a short walk to the city’s arenas and attractions. The hotel combines the historic post office building from 1925 with a modern extension. Interior details from the post office’s heyday remain, alongside contemporary furnishings in dark, warm tones.
The hotel has two restaurants. Vrå pairs ingredients from Sweden’s west coast with Japanese cooking techniques. Norda is in the former post hall and draws inspiration from the East Coast of the United States. There are also several bars and an outdoor terrace that is popular during summer.
Guests can use the gym and the heated rooftop pool, which is open year-round on the 13th-floor terrace. The terrace has 360-degree views across the city. At Skönhetsfabriken, guests can book massages and treatments, and access the spa area called The Treat. The hotel and its restaurants are certified with the Nordic Swan Ecolabel.
