Vargas Wildlife Lodge, also called Vargas Vildmarkslodge in Swedish, is in Hälsingland, a region known as “bear county”. Wildlife watching is the activity described at the lodge. It has more than 25 years of experience in wildlife watching. Visit Sweden says the lodge’s hideout is considered the best in the world, according to the BBC.
The lodge also operates tours to the nearby archipelago for white-tailed eagle watching. White-tailed eagles are also called sea eagles. The hideout and the archipelago tours are the two wildlife-watching activities described: one is based at the hideout, while the other takes visitors to the nearby archipelago to watch eagles. Visitors interested in wildlife watching can therefore find both hideout-based watching and an eagle-watching tour among the activities associated with Vargas.
