Philipsen sprinted home the 13th stage
The Belgian Jasper Philipsen took home the approximately 165-kilometer-long stage of the Tour de France between the French Agen and Pau after great drama in the final stretch. Philipsen sprinted past his compatriot Wout van Aert and thus won his second stage under this year's Tour de France.
French leadership after the tour's first stage
It was French success on the first stage of the Tour de France. Romain Bardet crossed the finish line as number one after five hours, seven minutes and 22 seconds of cycling, and gets to wear the yellow leader's jersey.
