French TV channel blocked in Burkina Faso

Burkina Faso shut down French TV5 on Tuesday for six months for spreading "disinformation", according to the country's communications authority. The TV channel had invited Newton Ahmed Barry, a well-known critic of the country's military junta, on the programme last week.
