Broke her hand after horse fall – has special protection in the Olympic Games
Marlena Jawaid, Sweden's only Olympic Games participant in modern pentathlon, fell off her horse during training in Stockholm almost two weeks ago and has suffered a fracture in the metacarpal bone in her right hand, reports Radiosporten. The 23-year-old Olympic debutant, who was born in Bulgaria, will compete in Paris with a special protection.
