It looked tough for Skellefteå already after the first meeting of two in the quarterfinals of the CHL ice hockey. Skellefteå lost 0–5 on away ice against German Bremerhaven and a giant turnaround in the return match on home ice was what was required of the Västerbottens – but it didn't happen.
