Sweden to EU: Now we are free from swine fever
On Friday, September 6, it has been one year since the first case of African swine fever was confirmed in the country. The Swedish strategy against the infection was successful – and now the Swedish Board of Agriculture has applied to the EU to declare Sweden free from the disease.
