Terror threat against Israelis stopped during Olympic Games
French authorities are now reporting that they stopped three plans for terrorist attacks during the Olympic Games and Paralympics in Paris and other French cities. Olivier Christen, prosecutor in charge of combating terrorism, says that one of the thwarted terror plans involved attacks on Israeli institutions and representatives in Paris during the Olympic Games, but that the Israeli Olympic team was not a target.
