Russian blogger sentenced for testimony about Butja

A court in Moscow sentenced Russian blogger Anna Bazjutova to five and a half years in prison on Wednesday, after she broadcast witness testimony about Russian atrocities in the Ukrainian city of Bucha. The court holds that Bazjutova spread "false" information about the Russian army's abuses, committed during the occupation of the city in 2022.
