Anja Händén has finished playing in table tennis at the Paralympic Games – on the other hand, veteran Emil Andersson is clear for the quarterfinals. Händén lost in the quarterfinals to Brazilian Bruna Alexandre, while Andersson turned 0–2 around to win 3–2 in the round of 16.

Table tennis player Anja Händén impressed when she reached the quarterfinals in the Paralympic Games in Paris. The Swede, who plays in class 10, defeated Chinese Hou Chunxiao in three straight sets – 11–5, 11–6, 11–9.

The table tennis duo Emil Andersson and Daniel Gustafsson have advanced to the Paralympic quarterfinals in men's doubles. Thailand's Chalermpong Punpoo and Bunpot Sillapakong took the first set in the round of 16 and then had three set balls in the second, before the blue-yellow turnaround began.
