Judoka Nicolina Pernheim Goodrich, who took Paralympic bronze barely nine months after having her first child, received the award as Role Model of the Year.
And cyclist Anna Beck managed to take bronze in Paris, despite meeting the toughest possible opponents when all classes were merged in the time trial. For that, and for an overwhelming World Championship gold just weeks after the Paralympics, she was awarded as Female Athlete of the Year.
Beck, 44, finished after the season. She is now the national team coach for the para-cycling team.
Table tennis player Anja Händén was named Newcomer of the Year. She was Sweden's youngest participant in the Paralympics last summer, 20 years old then, and she reached the quarterfinals.
