Source: Berlin Investigates Death Sentence Against German in Belarus

Belarus and Germany are holding "consultations" about a German citizen who, under unclear circumstances, is said to have been sentenced to death in a court in Minsk, announces the Belarusian Foreign Ministry. The 30-year-old man is said to have been sentenced in June, accused of, among other things, "terrorism", according to the Belarusian human rights organization Vjasna.
