Is it possible to store carbon dioxide more than a kilometer down beneath the seabed off the coast of Skåne? To investigate the conditions, the Swedish Geological Survey (SGU) is now initiating test drilling in Smygehamn in Trelleborg Municipality. With the help of a drilling rig, drilling will be carried out down to a depth of 1,500 meters to retrieve core samples.
