Preliminary Investigation into Sugar Explosion Dropped

The prosecutor has dropped the preliminary investigation into the powerful explosion at the sugar refinery in Örtofta north of Lund a year ago. The Work Environment Authority reported the owner Nordic Sugar to the police because the authority believed that the company had not fulfilled its obligations regarding the work environment.
