A hacker group with Russian connections is threatening to leak personal data from Sportadmin unless a ransom is paid, reports Dagens Nyheter. We expect the data to be released in some form within the next few days, says Jennie Everhed, communications manager at Lime Technologies, the company behind the app.

There is still great uncertainty regarding the extent of the cyberattack on the Sportadmin app – which is used by 1,700 sports associations in Sweden and has one million users. We cannot currently know what amount of data is involved, says Jennie Everhed, communications manager at Lime Technologies, which owns Sportadmin, to TT.
