The Integrity Protection Authority (IMY) is initiating an investigation into Sportadmin to, among other things, examine what security measures have been taken to protect personal data handled in the service, according to a press release.
Three months ago, Sportadmin was hit by a data breach. Sportadmin is an app behind which the company Lime Technologies stands and which is used by around one million adults and children from 1,700 sports associations. Hackers then threatened to leak personal data. The extent of the breach is not fully known.
