01.37 Break-in, Östersund:
Police patrol is dispatched to Odenslund due to a break-in in a cellar storage room in a multi-family house. One person has been seen leaving the scene and damage has been made to a lock. It is unclear what was stolen.

No suspect perpetrator is found in the area. A report is filed regarding theft through break-in.

04.49 Fire, Östersund:
Alarm about a fire in a storage room in the basement of a multi-family house in Lugnvik. No one is reported to have been injured. Several people have left the building due to smoke development. Rescue services extinguish.

The cause of the fire is unclear and will be investigated. The fire site is cordoned off for technical examination. A report is filed regarding arson.

A man in his 40s has been arrested in the morning and will be questioned in the matter.
