Several police patrols are being dispatched to a multi-family house on Lidnersgatan in Nyby to assist the rescue service in connection with a fire in an apartment.

On the scene, it appears to be a fully developed fire in the relevant apartment that can be extinguished by the rescue service before it spreads to adjacent dwellings.

In order to investigate the cause of the fire, the police have filed a report on arson and the apartment has been cordoned off pending a technical investigation.
