Here follow a selection of the night's events:

23.14 Wildlife accident, Härjedalen:
Police receive a report of an accident involving a car and an elk on Highway 84, Skarvruet. No personal injuries are reported. It is unclear what happened to the elk and a tracker is called out.

03.18 Attempted break-in etc., Östersund:
Police are called to central Östersund due to a suspected break-in in a construction cabin. Two men are apprehended. They have e-bikes that are suspected to be stolen. They are seized along with a large quantity of suspected narcotics.

The men, aged 30 and 35 respectively, are suspected of being under the influence of narcotics. They are taken into custody in accordance with the Law on the Detention of Intoxicated Persons (LOB).

A report is filed regarding attempted theft through break-in, theft, and narcotics offenses (possession and use).

05.43 Traffic control, Östersund:
22 drivers on county road 605, Lugnviks industrial area are checked. All are sober.

Police have also carried out a number of checks on people and vehicles that have not resulted in any suspicion of a crime.
