Driving a car with alcohol or drugs in the body is one of the most common causes of serious accidents on the road. Between June 8 and 14, the police therefore conduct extra sobriety checks.

Here follow results from some of the morning traffic checks in the region:

On Gullänget in Örnsköldsvik, driving licenses and sobriety were checked. All checked were without remarks.

All who passed the sobriety checks on county road 335 in Remsle, Sollefteå, were without remarks.

All who passed the sobriety checks on Gesällvägen in Birsta, Sundsvalls municipality, were without remarks.

No remarks were noted at the check carried out in Sörberge, Timrå.

All who passed the sobriety checks on highway 90 in Lunde, Kramfors municipality, were without remarks.
