A report comes in from a residence in Skärblacka where a person is alleged to have been assaulted with a blunt object.

Police have a number of patrols on the scene to create a situation report and to search for the perpetrator or perpetrators who have left the crime scene.

The assaulted person is awake and able to speak and will be taken to hospital by ambulance for treatment. The crime occurred indoors and the current apartment will be cordoned off for a crime scene investigation.

20:49 The classification of the crime is currently attempted murder. Police are conducting a range of investigative measures, including witness statements and door-to-door inquiries. The apartment is cordoned off and a technical investigation will be carried out. No perpetrator has been apprehended.
