Police patrols were dispatched to an address in Karlskoga during early evening. In the residence, patrols encounter a woman who has been assaulted by a man she has a relationship with. Police patrols apprehend the man and an investigation is initiated. The suspect is in his 30s.
 
Several investigative measures have been taken and more will be carried out. When the case is compiled and the suspected person is informed of the suspicion, the case will be presented to a duty prosecutor for a decision. The decision concerns the alternatives between further detention and then in the form of arrest or the man will be released on bail.
