During the day, the police stopped and searched a man in a car outside Umeå. The man blew positively in the breathalyzer. When the patrol was supposed to have asked him to follow for further sampling, he is supposed to have put himself in resistance. He is also supposed to have threatened the police.

The man, who is in his 40s, is arrested. The suspicions concern drunk driving or aggravated drunk driving, violent resistance, threats against an official, and insult against an official. 

After interrogation, the prosecutor will decide whether he should be detained or released on bail.
