Police are located at an address in Rosta which is located in the western districts of Örebro. In a stairwell, some kind of smaller explosive device has exploded, there have been no injuries to either person or property. Before the explosion, a number of youths had been "causing trouble" outside the address and then it exploded in the stairwell.

There was a slight smell of smoke in the stairwell when the patrol reported the location, the fire department is ventilating the smoke.

As a result of the incident, an investigation has been initiated with a classification of a crime against the Explosives Act.
