Good morning. Here follows a selection of the police's activities last night.
The police's regional command center has handled between 22.00-07.00 a total of 120 cases related to Jönköping County.
Despite the large number of cases, the night's work has mainly involved routine cases: for example, wildlife accidents, crime prevention work, drunkenness, mental health issues, and various checks on their own initiative or following reports from the public.
At 00:00, the police are alerted to a residential area in Värnamo where callers describe a large fight with several people. There are no signs of injuries, but three people are suspected of being under the influence of narcotics and are taken along with the patrols for testing. The three people, two men in their 30s and a woman in her 40s, are now suspected of minor narcotics offenses through their own use.
At 01:30, the police are alerted to an address in Nässjö town. A man who had been asked to leave a party is said to have returned and entered the apartment, and uttered some form of threat. No one has been injured and the man is found on the scene. He is now suspected of unlawful threats and breach of peace.
