June 20 07.09, Summary evening and night, Västra Götaland County

Under late summer solstice evening and night, the police have handled several cases related to intoxication and suspected assaults. In total, it involves around 30 alarms related to assault where the complaint has been written in the majority of the cases. Over 50 alarms regarding intoxication have been received, where more than half have led to some form of detention. In addition, several cases have been handled regarding, among other things, unlawful threats and narcotics offenses. It should be emphasized that most of the suspected assaulters concern domestic violence and not violence in public.

04:14, assault – Skövde
A man claims that he was on his way home when several unknown perpetrators appeared in a car and hit him. This is said to have happened near a fast food restaurant on Nolhagavägen in Rosenhaga. The police have been on the scene to hear the complainant, who is then driven to the hospital by patrol. The complaint regarding assault is currently without a suspect. 

02:33, assault – Tanum
Police on the scene at Strandvägen in central Grebbestad identify a man who is estimated to be injured. He is said to have bled from the head. Fortunately, he is not considered to be in need of any urgent care and can be driven away by patrol. The assault complaint is without a suspect.  

23:55, Gross assault – Gothenburg
The alarm describes a man bleeding from the neck after being hit with a bottle by another man. The injured man is taken to the hospital but is said to have been awake and able to speak. He can later be heard by the police at the hospital despite his injuries. Investigation measures, including witness statements, lead during the evening to a suspect in their 20s who is arrested suspected of gross assault.

23:31, assault – Tidaholm 
The alarm describes several people being involved in some form of fight at a campsite in Hökenäs and that at least one person is injured. The police have been on the scene and heard the parties involved. A complicated case and high intoxication levels among several of those involved. One person has a split eyebrow and a complaint is filed regarding assault. However, without a perpetrator.
