The police were informed at 20:47 on Thursday evening about a violent crime in Sollefteå. A man is said to have been exposed to what is currently classified as an attempted murder. The crime is said to have occurred in a dwelling. 

A man has been apprehended and subsequently detained suspected of the crime. The two involved are said to know each other from before. 

The victim is taken to medical care.

The police are working with the case and this includes among other things a crime scene investigation and interrogation.
