Here follow a selection of the night's events:

01.59 Assault. Boden:
Police are ordered to Bodsvedjan due to a brawl/fight involving several people. A man is apprehended suspected of assaulting another man. The injured man is taken to medical care by ambulance. The incident is being investigated as grievous assault. The parties involved will be questioned after they have sobered up.

02.42 Assault, Luleå:
Police patrol is ordered to a gas station due to a brawl/fight. The patrol talks to the parties involved to clarify what happened. A report of assault is filed, with two men suspected and two men as victims. There are no reports of anyone needing to be taken to medical care. No one is detained in the case.

04.45 Traffic accident, Piteå:
Alarm of a traffic accident on Timmerleden, Backens industrial area. A car that is said to have lost a wheel is said to have driven into a pole. Police patrol is ordered to the scene. The driver is checked, as routine, and is sober. An ambulance has been on the scene, but it is unclear if anyone has been taken to medical care.

There is no suspicion of a crime in connection with the accident.

Other:
Police have handled a case in Luleå municipality during the night where a man is suspected of assaulting a woman he had previously been in a relationship with. The man is apprehended and an interrogation has been held. A report of assault has been filed. There are no reports of the woman needing to be taken to medical care.

Police have also handled a case in Piteå municipality involving a man and a woman who have a relationship with each other. The woman is said to have threatened the man and the man is said to have assaulted the woman. No one is detained in the case.

Police have also carried out several checks of people and vehicles that have not resulted in any suspicion of a crime.

There have been more visitors than during previous weeks and the atmosphere has been good.

On Saturday, six people were taken into custody for intoxication according to LOB, four people under 18 were taken into custody according to LOB, eight people were removed and one person was turned away.

Two minor narcotics offenses, two assault cases, a case of violence against a public official, and a case of sexual harassment have been handled.
